US imposes additional 100% tariffs on China<\/h2>\n

In a move that shook the global markets on Friday, US President Donald Trump ramped up the trade war with China, announcing a massive 100% tariff on all Chinese imports.<\/a><\/p>\n

Trump misses out on 2025 Nobel Peace Prize<\/h2>\n

The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize has gone to Mar\u00eda Corina Machado<\/a>, the Venezuelan opposition leader known for her relentless fight to restore democracy in her country.<\/p>\n

The Norwegian Nobel Committee praised her as a \u201ccourageous champion of peace and democracy\u201d<\/em> who has continued her work even while in hiding from the Maduro regime.<\/p>\n

Machado\u2019s win is historic; she\u2019s now the second Venezuelan ever to receive a Nobel Prize.<\/p>\n

A long-awaited ceasefire between Israel and Hamas officially took effect on Friday,<\/a> after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s cabinet signed off on a deal brokered by US President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

The agreement is being called the first major step in a broader peace plan aimed at finally ending the two-year conflict in Gaza.<\/p>\n

Under the deal, Israeli forces have pulled back to pre-designated positions inside Gaza, while Hamas has agreed to release all remaining Israeli hostages within 72 hours.<\/p>\n

Under the agreement, OpenAI will deploy a massive 6 gigawatts of AMD Instinct GPUs to power its next generation of AI infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Starmer pushes UK-India ties forward<\/h2>\n

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer wrapped up his first official visit to India on Thursday, with a clear goal: to take UK-India trade and strategic relations to the next level.<\/a><\/p>\n

Traveling with a powerhouse delegation of over 125 business leaders, Starmer focused on speeding up the rollout of the UK-India Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, which was signed back in July.<\/p>\n

During the trip, Starmer and Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the stage at Mumbai\u2019s Global Fintech Fest, highlighting both nations\u2019 shared vision for innovation, technology, and climate cooperation.<\/p>\n

Some major outcomes came out of the visit: commitments to create over 10,000 new UK jobs through Indian investments, joint projects in AI and critical minerals, and a renewed pledge to strengthen the India-UK strategic partnership through 2035.<\/p>\n
